Group Therapy has a defined beginning and ending. They are not typically covered by insurance, but some can be relatively affordable.

  • Baby & Me New Moms Group

    As a new mother, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed, physically drained, anxious and even depressed. You and your baby are warmly invited to join our experienced childbirth educator, other new mothers and moms-to-be to discuss the ups and downs of motherhood in a compassionate and judgment-free zone. Our support group is free and public to the public. We hope to see you there.

    Join us, Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Willow Creek Medical Building Classroom - 1580 Creekside Drive, Folsom, CA.

Online Support Groups

  • Postpartum Support International

    Postpartum Support International (PSI) hosts 20+ online support groups for a variety of issues and cultural groups during pregnancy, postpartum, and through pregnancy loss and infant death.

    Our groups are 90 minutes (1.5 hours) in length. The first ~30 minutes is providing information, education, and establishing group guidelines. The next ~60 minutes is “talk time,” in which group members share and talk with each other. Group members must be present for the group guidelines before joining in the discussion or “talk time.”

  • I.N.S.P.I.R.E. SUPPORT GROUPS

    The Shades of Blue Project is a Houston-based Non-Profit organization. With its continued focus on improving, Maternal Mental Health outcomes for black and brown birthing people, The Shades of Blue Project will be opening a new Maternal and Mental Health Resource Center located in the North Houston area of the city. The center will offer social support services, job placement skills, onsite therapy sessions, support groups, and many more dedicated services to benefit the community.   • BeWellLine

    These are all 45 minutes long and held on zoom with a capacity of 14 care-seekers per break out room.

    All the programs are free and are available to everyone, and people can use an alias if they prefer! There are no requirements or income verification. Someone doesn't have to be a resident, so it is available to everyone, including each of us.
