Individual Therapy

AB2193 requires all health plans to develop a Maternal Mental Health Program.

Our Care Connector can help you learn about the best way to navigate your health insurance plan.

If you are a visual learner our Tutorials can help.

It is ok to say you want a provider who looks like you, speaks your language or represents your culture. And, you don't have to stick with the first one you see.

It can take some time to get established with a provider or find a provider who is right for you.

Many health plans have case managers that can help. You can also contact the Sacramento County Community Support Team at (916) 874-6015 if you continue to hit roadblocks.

If your health plan can't meet your needs find an "out-of-network" provider and submit a claim to your insurance for authorization.

Not sure if therapy is right for you? Check out our article on what Individual Therapy should look like under our Go Deep section.
